01General provisions

The megamontaj.ro website is owned and operated by MEGAMONTAJ SRL, tax identification number 17196425, Trade Register number J26/195/2005, with its registered office at 694 Cimitirului Street, 547185, Cristești commune, Mureș County, Romania.

Using the website and placing an order or enquiry signifies acceptance of these terms, so please read them in full. We may amend these terms, the website content or its operation without prior notice; the current version is the one published on this page.

02Website information

The content is for information purposes. Product and service descriptions do not constitute a binding offer: technical solutions, materials, schedules and prices are agreed for each project in a written quotation. Website enquiries are sent through Web3Forms; submission does not constitute acceptance of an order.

03Products

Products sold are new, packaged by MEGAMONTAJ and supplied with a tax invoice on delivery. Delivery is subject to stock availability; we may refuse an order for a product no longer included in our range.

Images are illustrative, and delivered products may differ slightly in colour or appearance. Prices exclude delivery costs.

04Delivery

We deliver from the MEGAMONTAJ warehouse using our own transport, Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 17:00, within 2–5 working days depending on the area. Transport costs depend on the value of the goods, product type and distance.

The vehicle will stop where it can park safely. Areas with traffic restrictions, such as weight limits or access or stopping prohibitions, may require a permit issued by the local authority. The driver assists with unloading from the vehicle, but not with carrying products to the storage location, so please arrange people to help.

If you do not answer the telephone number provided with the order, delivery will be rescheduled. We are not liable for delays caused by force majeure, such as flooding, snowbound or impassable roads; delivery will be rescheduled in these circumstances.

05Payment methods

Payment may be made on delivery or by bank transfer.

06Right of withdrawal and returns

As a consumer, you may withdraw from a distance contract without penalty or giving a reason within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, or of concluding a services contract, under Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014. You bear only the direct return costs.

Notify us before returning a product. It must reach our premises within 14 calendar days of receipt, with its label intact, the original invoice and no signs of use. Tell us whether you want a replacement, subject to stock availability, or a refund.

We refund the product price and standard delivery cost within 7 days by bank transfer to your account. Additional costs incurred by choosing delivery more expensive than standard delivery, and the cost of resending a replacement product, are borne by the customer. Order benefits are withdrawn if their conditions are no longer met following a return.

07Product warranties

Products benefit from the statutory conformity warranty under consumer protection legislation. Commercial warranties do not affect the statutory warranty. Keep your invoice as proof of purchase.

08Intellectual property

The website's images, texts, descriptions and names belong to MEGAMONTAJ SRL, its collaborators or suppliers. The website name and logo are owned by MEGAMONTAJ SRL. Reproduction, downloading, modification or commercial use without our written permission is prohibited. Infringements may be reported to megamontaj@megamontaj.ro. Partner trademarks belong to their respective owners.

09Conciliation and disputes

Any issue relating to an order may be addressed through free internal conciliation, which you can request at megamontaj@megamontaj.ro. These terms are governed by Romanian law.

Consumers may contact Romania's National Authority for Consumer Protection: free telephone 0800 080 999, online complaints at anpc.ro, address: 72 Aviatorilor Boulevard, Sector 1, Bucharest. The ANPC website also provides the alternative dispute resolution procedure (ADR).
