01Data controller

The data controller is MEGAMONTAJ SRL, tax identification number 17196425, Trade Register number J26/195/2005, with its registered office at 694 Cimitirului Street, 547185, Cristești commune, Mureș County, Romania, the author, owner and operator of megamontaj.ro. 02Data we collect

The website has no user accounts, online shop or payment facility. We receive your data only when you send it to us by email, telephone or through the contact and quotation forms.

When you submit a form, the information you enter is sent over HTTPS to Web3Forms, which processes the enquiry and delivers it to MEGAMONTAJ by email. The connection to this service occurs on submission, not simply when opening the page. The service also receives technical connection data, including your IP address, needed for delivery and spam protection. Form data includes your name, email address, optional phone number and company, product or service, location, dimensions, preferred schedule and message.

If the enquiry leads to a contract, we also process the information required to perform it, such as the work or delivery address and invoicing details.

When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser, requested page and time to deliver pages and maintain security. We do not use traffic analytics or advertising tools.

03Why we use it

We use your data to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and, if we enter into a contract, to perform, invoice and keep records of it.

The legal bases are steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and its performance (Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679), compliance with legal obligations such as tax requirements (point c), our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence, including from people acting for a company, and keeping the website secure (point f). Google Map loads only with your consent (point a).

04How long we keep it

We retain correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and, if we work together, throughout that relationship. Accounting records are retained for the period required by financial and accounting legislation.

Web3Forms separately retains form data according to the period configured in the service and its policy, which specifies a default retention period of up to three years and allows earlier deletion.

05Who we share it with

We do not sell, exchange or rent your data. It is shared only with:

• the megamontaj.ro domain's hosting and email provider, which hosts the megamontaj@megamontaj.ro mailbox where we receive messages;
• the website hosting provider, for technical visit data;
• Web3Forms (Web3Creative) for processing, spam filtering, storage and delivery of form enquiries, together with its infrastructure and anti-spam providers. The service may process data outside the European Economic Area; details and applicable safeguards are described in the Web3Forms privacy policy and its data processing agreement;
• Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC), only if you load the interactive map on the contact page (see “Google Map”);
• public authorities where required by law.

Your email application provider processes the messages you send under its own terms.

06Google Map

The Contact page initially displays a schematic map and our office address. The interactive Google map loads after you enable it on the Contact page or allow external content in your cookie preferences. Until then, the website does not connect to Google.

When the map loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address, browser details and our website address and may set or read cookies. Google processes this information as a controller under its Google Privacy Policy, and may process it outside the European Union.

You can withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page or the “Disable Google Map” button. Withdrawal immediately stops the map and future connections from the website to Google. It does not erase information already sent to Google or cookies already set by Google; you can delete those in your browser settings.

The “Open address in Google Maps” link opens Google's website in a new tab, where Google's rules apply.

07Data security

The website is static and has no accounts or its own form database. Enquiries are processed by Web3Forms and delivered by email; the form does not save data in your browser. Transmission to Web3Forms uses HTTPS. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to data received by email and telephone.

08Cookies

The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It stores only your Google Map preference in your browser. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

The website links to other websites with their own privacy policies, which are outside our control. This website is intended for adults and businesses; minors may use it only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

10Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise these rights, email us at megamontaj@megamontaj.ro or write to our registered address. You may lodge a complaint with Romania's National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (dataprotection.ro).
