ABOUT THE PROJECT
Mineral wool sandwich panel envelope and associated finishes for the Volvo foundry building.
The work involved installing mineral wool sandwich panels in 200 mm and 150 mm thicknesses and associated finishes.
Mineral wool panels 6–12 m long and weighing up to 400 kg each were installed up to the building's 35 m height.
A Cladboy panel lifting system, a 60 m crane and two 40 m access platforms were used.
The work was completed within the contractual timeframe and accepted by the client without reservations.
